INSPIRED BY THE CITY: We're already obsessed with NARS makeup (um, Orgasm blush? Oh yes.) But now the cosmetic company is creating a San Francisco-inspired beauty set, and we think we're in love. There's the Angel Island eyeshadow (a lovely lilac), the Golden Gate Bridge Highlighter (gold), the Alamo nail polish (a bronzy pink), and the Haight-Ashbury eyeshadow duo, in a purpley-gray and seafoam green, all for $75 at Nordstrom.
NICE RACK: The Nordstrom Rack in East Palo Alto was packed this weekend, in no small part due to the shoe sale at the back of the store. Shoes labeled with a yellow tag were 35% off the most recent price. Hurray there today to see what's left, and be sure to check out the designer section (it's chock full of Jimmy Choos).
CROCS ROC: The hideously-ugly-yet-extremely-comfortable shoes known as Crocs are controversial, but the truth is, we know several nurses, gardeners and other people on their feet all day who are always on the lookout for a new pair.
