MELODIC MELISSA: Melissa Etheridge plays Sunday at the Mountain Winery. Gates open at 5:30 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $99.50, $85, $69.50, or $55, depending on where you want to sit.

SHAKE YOUR BOOTIE: Head over to the DNA Lounge on Friday and Saturday for a dance party with massive amounts of mashup music (think "Billie Jean" mixed with "Nirvana"). The party starts at 9 p.m., and the cover is $15 or $10 before 10 p.m.

ROCK THE BELLS: Hip-hop fans rejoice! Rock The Bells takes place at Shoreline Amphitheatre on Sunday at noon, with performances by Nas, Damian Marley, The Roots, Busta Rhymes and more.

SUMMER OF STREET FAIRS: On Saturday and Sunday, San Francisco's Japantown will host the Nihonmachi Street Fair. Celebrate the Bay Area's diverse Asian and Pacific Islander communities with live music, food, and more.

LOTS OF SOCCER: On Saturday at 5:30 p.m., the San Jose Earthquakes will play against the Columbus Crew in a MLS regular season game. But the real fun starts after that game, with the exhibition match between FC Barcelona and CD Guadalajara.
