Everett and Jones can be found across the Bay Area, but its flagship location is at Oakland's Jack London Square. The place is rapidly becoming a favorite spot for public events. It's hosted everything from "American Idol" to "Election Night" parties that can last into the morning hours. Everett and Jones also boasts a nice selection of live bands. The barbeque is great, but customers will tell you they also come for the sides, which include homemade greens, candy yams and cornbread. Be ready to wait your turn the next time you head to their Oakland location and yes, you will leave not leave hungry.

- CygnusX1Bk2 The E&J on San Pablo is my favorite of these. I like the Jack London Restaurant, but their sauce is considerably hotter than the one on University and San Pablo. I live in the East Bay. When I am in the city and think of it I will go to Big Nate's. It is closer to the San Pablo E&J than the one at Jack London.The E&J on San Pablo is my favorite of these. - Ken E&J on San Pablo near University in Berkeley is the BEST. Great ribs, brisket, chicken and links.
