There's a little-known niche in nightclubs these days that is growing fast. They have all the allure of regular clubs -- good music, drinks, dancing -- but these new types of clubs cater to the plus-sized crowd.

One such place, Club Bounce in Long Beach, Calif. is growing in popularity. Club owner and fellow BBW (Big Beautiful Woman), Lisa Marie Garbo, started Bounce five years ago.

"Club Bounce is a size-acceptance nightclub," said Garbo. "People of larger shapes and sizes can go and feel comfortable, accepted and desired and not feel like they're second-class citizens for being overweight."

The business concept has been a success. Garbo recently opened a second location in Phoenix, and is scouting places to open a third.

She considers herself a size-acceptance activist. Garbo has started an online petition to add anti-size discrimination to federal and state employment laws.
