CUBAN COWBOYS: The Cuban Cowboys bring their Cuban surf punk rock blended in with melodies a la the Mambo Kings or the Pixies will play Yoshi's, 1330 Fukknire St., in San Francisco at 8 p.m.

NOT JUST FUNNY, FILIPINO FUNNY: Edwin San Juan is considered to be the most successful Filipino comedian working and he will play The Improv, 62 S 2nd St., in San Jose at 8 p.m.

COFFEE AND JAZZ: The Elk Grove Healthy Organic Coffee and Jazz mixer will take place at 7 p.m.at the POP UPS internet lounge and gaming center, 9736 lorin Rd., in Elk Grove. Come enjoy a cup of healthy organic coffee and listen to some soft jazz and network in an elegant atmosphere.
