Curry in a Hurry Coming to the Streets of San Francisco

Spicy Indian curry loving foodies will soon be able to get their fix on the streets of San Francisco.

Joining the myriad of street food vendors in the City will be an Indian taco truck from the Peninsula, SFoodie reports.

Curry Up Now says it hopes to start serving Indian inspired burritos and traditional Indian hand foods  in the Financial District, near Levi's Plaza and possibly a location in SoMa. There could also be an evening stop in the Mission, on Valencia between 18th and 19th streets, according to SFoodie.

Co-founder Akash Kapoor  apparently has no intentions of going head-to-head with popular brick and mortar Indian and Pakistani kitchens in the "Tandoor-Loin."

He says he hopes to start selling Indian treats on the streets of the City by the end of December. Kapoor and his wife have been selling Indian fusion food out of a converted taco truck mostly in downtown Burlingame and at various Peninsula company offices.
