Lovers of amazing ice cream can rejoice: Bi-Rite Creamery is open again after a brief hiatus.
But like all good things there is a catch. The popular ice cream shop in San Francisco's Mission district reopened this week with more seating but absent a promised soft-serve window.
SFoodie reports the new window won't open until Friday. As for the expansion we're not sure it will help Bi-Rite avoid the Ike's treatment. Seating was only expanded from three seats to 10, which won't do much to calm the potential of angry neighbors fed up with lines draped around the block.
Maybe that's where the soft-serve window comes in.
