I suddenly realized that I was being totally ripped off for eating-parking & shopping. And I hear it has gotten much worse. This is all aside from the politics. The politics are whacked, the "homeless" are a big problem... but this is the most wonderful city. I love it! Now... where does Bill O live? Please, give me a ticket to LA, Chicago, Miami, Philly, Houston, Wash DC, NY, or any major city and I'll give you a similiar depiction. You would be a fool to think this kind of stuff only happens in SF. Sure Gulianni made some positive things in cleaning up NYC but do you honestly think there's no more criminal element hanging around where Joe/Jane Public don't walk around? I'd rather live next to a park where there's free lovin' hippies in SF than some of the rough neighborhoods of NYC or DC. Give me a break Mr. O... ... MORE >

Beautiful place, horribly inept and leftist politicians. The mayor is a joke and the city council has no idea as to what relaity is! They spend themselves into a hole and expect the rational parts of the state and country to bail them out. The values of SF are just that as well. They are crazy and not yourt traditional American values that O'Reilly and his rather massive TV audience tend to support. He is not crazy. He is just stating a commen conception, which is SF is not a pragmatic or rational place. But great food and great scenery!!!!! I love that part of it! ... MORE >
