"Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon and partner Christine Marinoni just bought a new home for $3.25 million, just blocks from former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker's abode.
While Carrie and Miranda (um, we mean, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon) may not be best buds in real life, the Sex and the City stars are now neighbors. The New York Observer reports that Nixon, who recently came under fire for proclaiming being gay was a conscious choice to The New York Times Magazine (she later clarified her comments), threw down $3.25 million for a new loft home in downtown Manhattan.
Nixon and her partner, Christine Marinoni, have been residing on the Upper West Side, so decamping to a loft home way downtown will certainly be a big change for the duo. Their new digs feature four bedrooms, four baths and has been recently gut renovated. The chic spread comes with 12-foot ceilings, an eat-in kitchen, and a modern and sleek design.
Sarah Jessica Parker lives just a few blocks away in a sweet townhouse, which is just a stroll from Nixon's new spot. Who knows--perhaps Nixon's new move will inspire a Sex and the City spin-off based on real life events. Ok, maybe not, but a girl can dream, right?
