If you made it through "Gnomeo & Juliet," you know this is a terrible idea.
Elton John will again team up with Rocket Pictures and writer-director Kelly Asbury to make "Will Gallows and the Snake Bellied Troll," reported Deadline.
The film will be a live-action/CGI-animated feature based on a series of books by Derek Keilty that follow a young cowpoke as he makes his way through an Old West blended with elements of fantasy. And of course, it will be loaded with music.
John's first stab at film-making, which involved the same team of folks, was "Gnomeo & Juliet," a retelling of Shakespeare's classic love story, but wth the feuding families being gnomes from neighboring yards. with the voices of James McAvoy and Emily Blunt in the leads. It was stupid, boring and tired, and brimming with retoolings of John's hits from the '70s.
