In the span of about 24 hours HBO has set the tubes ablaze with trailers for two of the most hotly anticipated TV series of 2010, Treme" and "Boardwalk Empire."
"Treme" comes from David Simon, a man who has made arguably more great television than anyone else currently working. From "Homicide: Life on the Streets" to "The Wire" to "Generation Kill," Simon has shown a gift for character development, story arc and an eye for talent unmatched by his peers.
Simon's latest is set in New Orleans and kicks of three months after Hurricane Katrina has laid waste to the city. The show, which stars Steve Zahn, Rob Brown, Melissa Leo, Khandi Alexander, Kim Dickens, Clarke Peters, Wendell Pierce and John Goodman, is set to premiere on April 11.
