Joel Edgerton's “Wish You Were Here” Trailer Arrives Ahead of Sundance Debut

Joel Edgerton's days as an Australian indie filmmaker aren't quite over, as he's heading back to Sundance next month with another homegrown thriller.

"Wish You Were Here," written and directed by Kieran Darcy-Smith, stars Edgerton, Theresa Palmer. Felicity Price (who also co-wrote the film) and Anthony Starr, follows two couples on an off-the-beaten path vacation in Cambodia. Things get a lot less fun when one of them goes missing, and a police investigation inches closer to another's drug trade. The film, which will have its world premiere on opening night of Sudance, has just delivered a trailer:

Darcy-Smith and Edgerton are both members of the Blue Tongue Films collective, a group that also includes Joel's brother, Nash (director and co-writer of "The Square, Spencer Sussman ("Hesher") and David Michod, whose "Animal Kingdom" was named best picture at the 2010 Sundance film fest.
