Look, not every superhero deserves his own movie. Sorry, Moon Knight, but it's true.

Although, given their track record, Marvel could almost be justified in planning solo outings for everyone from Tigra to Quasar, but it appears they may go another route: Short films.

According to Film School Rejects, Marvel has already shot two short mini-films starring Clark Gregg as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Coulson ("Son of Coul"). As you know, the straight-arrow Coulson is the human liason to the Marvel Universe, popping up in "Iron Man" and "Thor" as well as the upcoming "Avengers."

Marvel apparently plans to include these shorts in the upcoming "Thor" and "Captain America" DVDs, and word is that they will include characters not seen on screen before, but not (probably) worthy of their own movies.

It's basically "Agent Coulson And the Uncanny Cameos."

Will Coulson be trading fashion tips with Iron Fist? Hunting Werewolf by Night? Sipping cognac with Dr. Strange and his manservant? We'll just have to wait and see...
