American Breakdown
Steve Carell, James Gandolfini, Josh Hartnett, Paul Walker and Paris Hilton star in this collection of presumably interconnected shorts about a group of people who "find themselves in an alienating world, filled with heartbreak, deception and tragedy. With so much at stake, these strangers struggle to overcome their fates and find their place in a frequently harsh and unforgiving world." It's telling that a film with this cast made it this far without generating an ounce of attention, and if the comments to be found around the internet are to be believed--"the worst movie i've ever attempted to watch," "(my wife's) last wish before she fell asleep was that I would go online and warn other people not to make the same mistake we did"--this thing is an epic disaster.
