If Someone Starts Whining About the Cost of Moviemaking, Show 'em This “Monsters” Featurette

Writer-director Gareth Edwards went to the south of France this year to screen his super-low-budget film "Monsters" at the Cannes Market. There's a good chance he spent more on travel and lodging than he did on his film, which nonetheless earned raves.

"Monsters" has been described as “like 'Lost in Translation,' set in Mexico, but with gigantic alien monsters,” by /Film, who report that Edwards spent a whopping $15,000 shooting his film.
