The not-so-long awaited "Spider-Man" reboot is here, the Dark Knight is about to "Rise," a "Total" remake is coming and you should get ready to be "Bourne" again as the summer heat will make a couple of hours in a movie theater all the more enticing. Check out what the next two months has to offer:
The Amazing Spider-Man
Seven years after "Spider-Man 3," your friendly neighborhood wall-crawler returns, this time with over is Andrew Garfield ("The Social Network") as Spidey/Peter Parker, as he goes up against The Lizard, aka Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) in this retelling of the origins story. We're not sure this franchise needed to be rebooted so quickly, but the trailer looks mighty fine. Directed by Marc Webb, co-stars Emma Stone ("Easy A") as girlfriend Gwen Stacy, and Denis Leary as Capt. George Stacy of the NYPD.
Aaron Johnson ("Kick-Ass") and Taylor Kitsch ("Battleship") star as two men who share a marijuana business and a girlfriend, played by Blake Lively ("The Town"). The guys must go to war after a Mexican drug cartel kidnaps their girlfriend. Directed by Oliver Stone, based on the acclaimed novel by Don Winslow, and co-starring Benicio Del Toro and Salma Hayek.

Ice Age: Continental Drift

This film was originally known as "Neighborhood Watch," but that title was scrapped after the Trayvon Martin tragedy.

Whitney Houston's return to the big screen in "Sparkle" would tragically turn out to be her last movie role. Houston plays the mother of three singing sisters with aspirations of stardom, in a remake of the 1976 film of the same name. The film co-stars former "Idol" champ Jordin Sparks and Cee lo Green.
