Apple Foretold Steve Jobs Death to Palo Alto PD

A new report suggests Apple knew about Steve Jobs imminent death long before it happened.

The company's security officials reportedly met with the Palo Alto Police Department earlier this week to organize extra patrols around the Apple CEO's home because he was close to death, according to Bloomberg.

Jobs passed away at home Wednesday with his family by his side. His home and Apple's Cupertino headquarters have since become a shrine for mourners and fans of the tech wizard.

Sandra Brown, a spokeswoman with the Palo Alto Police Department, said that Apple representatives told the department that there was "a possibility that it could happen this week."

Apple declined to comment on the report.

Jobs lives on a public street in a residential neighborhood that is easily accesible to outsiders.
