Edit this... Facebook is (finally) allowing editable commenting for users who type faster than they spell.

Ever rolled out a pithy one-liner on a friend's Facebook wall, only to have misspelled "totatlly!"? Now, that's fixable.

Facebook is rolling through user accounts and adding the ability to edit comments, without having to delete them and re-post. That can be annoying because it potentially sends another notification to the user.

Apparently (I don't have this super-awesome ability yet) and according to The Next Web, users have 30 seconds to amend a posting.

Now this ability is not extending to embeddable comments, though, like Drew Olanoff points out, it dang well should.

Editor's note: I have recently been gifted the ability to star or add "close friends" on the Facebook wall. Is that out there for everone?
