Facebook Sorry for Pulling Gay Kiss Pic

Everyone can relax today. Facebook has formally apologized for erroneously pulling a photo of two dudes kissing, says All Facebook.

The page protesting the censorship, called Kissing is Cool, had over 41,000 participants and the organizer called it a success, posting this today:

"The statement from Facebook:”The photo in question does not violate our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and was removed in error,” the statement, obtained by America Blog, says. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

The event has been mostly a success. It has been found to be based on half truths as you can see on all the links posted. People respond to what they hear and see. Even though some of it turns out to be false. The event was based on good intentions and remains so. No one should feel uncomfortable showing affection for someone they love. A kiss in friendship, in greeting, in departing and most importantly in love isn’t wrong. Be comfortable with who you are and who you love. Thank you everyone for participating I would encourage you to keep the event going until the 27th. Post the pics for those who can’t."
