Google Is the Best Place to Work

It may be the free food, the one day a week to work on whatever you want, the bocce ball courts or the on site dry cleaning.

Whatever the reason, Fortune Magazine says Google is the best company to work for in the country.

The Mountain View-based search company is notorious for its long line of perks, something that co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have wanted as a recruiting tool since shortly after launching the company in Palo Alto.

It doesn't hurt that Google's nearly 32,000 employees also enjoy competitive salaries and the stability of knowing a long line of popular products adds job stability.

Google is followed by the Boston Consulting Group, SAS Institute, Wegmans Food Markets and Edward Jones.
