Google Video Will Shift to YouTube

When Google pulled the plug on its video star -- not YouTube but the other video-sharing site, Google Video -- the Mountain View-based company had to figure out what to do with all those gigs of user uploaded video.

Google initially told users to download their videos or face deletion, according to Engadget but now the "do no evil" company is planning to automatically upload the videos to YouTube for the view who still stick to Google Video.

Uploading the videos manually had been an option for Google Video users for some time. But Google is just taking the middleman -- you -- out of the equation and hitting upload itself.

All of this just in time for the royal wedding livestream. Perfect.
