If Facebook really wants to expand its mobile presence this year, it needs to make it easier to update your status multiple times a day.

A simple iPhone or Android app won't suffice. Short of creating a cell phone of its own, someone at HTC seems to have realized how much time is wasted clicking on and off a Facebook app and waiting for a profile to load.

The phone is expected to be introduced this month.
