The man who many believe is the next in line to Apple's throne has been put on top of the list of Out magazine's 2011 Power 50 List.

Tim Cook's private life has been kept just that, private, but many suspect the Apple COO, and acting CEO, is in fact gay.

Cook topped a list that also features talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, Perez Hilton and Matt Drudge.

The Apple boss was recognized for his ability to calm stockholders nerves whenever CEO Steve Jobs has gone on medical leave.

Out's list also includes several other celebrities who have not publicly come out, including CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, right-wing blogger Matt Drudge.
