Sex Offender Learns Apple Stores Are Not for Facebook

If you have been convicted for possession of child pornography, you can't use the Internet anywhere.

That ban would include Apple stores.

Apparently Robert Nicholas McGuire, a man convicted for possession of child pornography, didn't get the memo or he felt safe in one of Steve Jobs' wonder stores.

McGuire decided to check into his Facebook account at an Apple store in California when a detective who worked on his case happened to be in the same store.

The detective reportedly recognized McGuire and starting using the computer next to him. He pulled up the Meghan's Law website and checked McGuire's current status and found that he was still on probation and still not allowed to use the Internet.

McGuire was taken into custody.
