Steve Jobs Gets Pixar Building Named For Him

Some people may know that Steve Jobs financed Pixar Studios back in the old days, but his legacy was not commemorated until now.

Pixar gave a brief tribute to Jobs in their latest film, Brave, but the studio now has named its main building for its former chief executive, according to Pixar Times. Apparently a Pixar employee shared an image on Twitter of the main building now dubbed "The Steve Jobs Building."

The name sits above the main entrance, which makes sure that most, if not all, visitors see the name and know of Jobs' legacy at the animation studio. Jobs may also have been part of the design team on the building, too.

Is it a fitting tribute to Steve Jobs? We think so because so many people may not be aware of Pixar's history and this makes it clear that Jobs was an important part of it.
