The Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, became famous for fighting Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in court for a piece of Facebook and settling out of court for $65 million along with their friend, Divya Narendra. Their story was that they had wanted Zuckerberg to work on a social site for them and then he created Facebook. Although the pair have spent the last three years in court trying to up the settlement, a judge finally threw out the case earlier this year.
Now the Winklevii are in a Wonderful Pistachios commercial and join the ranks of Snooki, Mr. Bill and Kermit the Frog, who have all appeared in the commercials. In one of the latest spols, the twins are sitting behind a table with "Mr. Winklevoss" name plaques in front of each of them when one snaps open a pistachio with one hand.
Winklevoss #1: Hey, that's a good idea.
Winklevoss #2: What?
Winklevoss #1: Cracking it like that. It could be huge.
Winklevoss #2: Think someone will steal it?
Winklevii (together, staring into the camera): Who would do that?
So did the Winklevii just get the last word?
