First Metallica, now Green Day — it seems that the big Bay Area bands are going to the movies this month.
A documentary about Green Day called ¡Cuatro! will be released on September 24. The film provides behind the scenes access to live shows as well as the recording of the recent trilogy of albums: ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!. It's a lucky time to have captured on film, an extraordinary period of prolific creation for the band.
The movie will be available digitally via sellers such as iTunes and Amazon; the latter will also sell a physical DVD release.
