Eye Heart SF, the local event promotion company behind Summersalt, seeks public donations in order to host a music festival this year on September 14.
Summersalt launched at Fort Mason Center in 2010 was put on hold the following year due to scheduling conflicts. In 2012, the event jumped seasons and became the Wintersalt Music & Arts Festival. The party was also held at Fort Mason and featured appearances by artists including Diplo, DJ Shadow, Zedd, Theophilus London, and K. Flay. Eye Heart promises a new location for this year's fest.
A Crowdtilt campaign aims to raise $15,000 to defray production costs. At press time, there were 334 supporters who have donated over $9,400 toward the goal. Incentives to kick in include early bird general admission, VIP perks, and for the high rollers, backstage access.
