San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson will show his softer side Thursday as he treats hundreds of children to a game and a glove.
Wilson is making the donation to the Giants Community Fund’s Junior Giants baseball program.
He will also sit down with the kids for a question and answer session ahead of Thursday night's game against the San Diego Padres.
The youngsters on the receiving end of the day are members of Junior Giants Leagues from the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, San Francisco Police Activities League and San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department.
Junior Giants is a free, non-competitive, co-ed program for 17,000 children in over 85 underserved communities.
