Buster's Day Off in the City

Giants star Buster Posey spent his day off Thursday pressing the flesh at two Bank of America branches in the City.

Posey was invited by B of A to surprise customers with game tickets and team apparel.

The customers instantly recognized the Rookie of the Year grabbing their cell phones to take a photo and grabbing anything they could find for his signature.

Posey posed with his fans for nearly two hours. He visited the B of A at 345 Montgomery St. first, then stopped by a branch at 1640 Van Ness Ave.

His appearances are part of a larger, national program that uses Bank of America’s sponsorship of Major League Baseball to demonstrate its gratitude to customers who also share bank’s passion for America’s National Pastime.

The Giants all had Thursday off. They begin a three game series against Atlanta Friday night.  This will be the first series with post season hero Cody Ross in the line-up.
