Fans woke up at the crack of dawn Monday morning and camped out at AT&T Park ahead of the home opener game between the San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies.
The Giants' self-described "No. 1" fan named "Clark," showed off her 7-pound hat, decked with with baseball buttons collected over 50 years.
Throughout the morning, the pizza pies were cooking and the Oreo churros were waiting to be eaten.
The first 40,000 fans will receive a replica pennant. Gates opened at 11:00 a.m. for fans who wanted to be seated early. Game time for Monday's home opener is 1:35 p.m.
