Kansas City simply is not San Francisco.

    There, Garth Brooks outranks Journey.

That message was delivered point-blank to Journey singer Steve Perry, who made the trip out to Kansas City for Tuesday's 10-0 drubbing of the San Francisco Giants at the hands of the hometown Royals.

The loss forced tonight's pivotal Game 7, and also forced home the issue of musical tastes.

To wit: Kansas City fans aren't feeling Journey.

Perry, whose renditions of "Don't Stop Believin'" have made him a staple of the playoffs at AT&T Park, found himself staring at a sign from the next section over, according to MLB.com.

    Three of them, in fact.

"Garth Brooks > Journey," the three signs held by fans read.

    Ouch.

Jake Peavy couldn't get anyone out, and Steve Perry got trolled. Truly nothing went right for San Francisco.
