Lincecum Finalizing Deal With Angels, Giants Out

It appears Tim Lincecum is on the verge of finding his next team.

The two-time Cy Young winner is closing in on a deal with the Los Angeles Angels, according to multiple reports.

According to Yahoo's Jeff Passan, the Giants are no longer in the running for Lincecum's services.

Last week, Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported that the Giants, Angels and White Sox were showing the most interest in the right-hander.

The Giants selected Lincecum with the 10th overall pick in the 2006 draft.

He made his big-league debut on May 6, 2007, and won the Cy Young in 2008 and 2009.

Lincecum won three World Series rings with the Giants and started Game 5 when the Giants captured the 2010 World Series.

The Giants were interested in Lincecum as a reliever, but he wanted to return as a starter.
