It's been a long time since Pablo Sandoval donned catching gear, however, Buster Posey's injury and the struggles of Chris Stewart and Eli Whiteside have led to speculation that the Giants' slugger could see some time behind the plate in 2012.
Manager Bruce Bochy hasn't suggested that he will let Sandoval catch and Sandoval told Comcast SportsNet that he is just fine with that.
"I just focus on playing third," Sandoval said. "If I have to catch, I'll catch. I don't want to talk about that with Bochy. I don't want to catch. I promise you I don't want to catch. I feel great at third base."
