The San Francisco Giants lost the third game of a four game series to the Washington Nationals Sunday 5-2.  The Nats lead the series 2-1 with a 4:05 pm game Monday.

Matt Cain got the loss as he struggled through all six of innings he pitched.

For the Nats, Jordan Zimmermann allowed two runs over six innings to end his three-game losing streak and catcher Ivan Rodriguez hit a two-run single in the eighth to seal the win.

This was a tough weekend for the Giants. Tim Lincecum lost Friday's game. Saturday, the team got a win, but to the surprise of just about everyone who watched.

The team also learned they will be without their biggest hitter of the season thus far. Pablo Sandobal is on the disabled list with a broken bone in his right wrist.

To replace him, the Giants called up third baseman Ryan Rohlinger from Triple-A Fresno Sunday.
