Wilson Faces Hitters, Readies for March 11 Debut

For the first time since early September, the Beard stared down hitters again.

Closer Brian Wilson continued to look strong in his slow and cautious buildup from a strained right elbow Sunday morning. He faced hitters for the first time this spring, and appeared to throw crisp and hard during his live batting practice session.

"It was a pretty good outing," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. "He got his work on. It’s good for him to see hitters. All went well."
