GOOD FLOW: While the music is certainly quite headline-y at the annual Harmony Festival, it isn't the only star attraction. The three-day celebration of good feeling and positive energy and planet kindness has several sources of light, and it all depends on where the visitor wants to land. If the visitor does land before a concert stage in 2011, they're likely to see Primus, the Flaming Lips, and Michael Franti & Spearhead. Oh yeah, and G. Love & Special Sauce'll be playing, as will Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. And Grace Potter! Okay. A person may spend quite a bit of time stage-side.
OTHER TO-DOS: But make time for the other haps around the Santa Rosa confab. There's a duo of big, strollable villages -- crafts making up one, and health & harmony the other -- as well as the Goddess Grove. We will also be checking out the Liquid Lounge, which is a happy place where one might try "sustainable wine and beer," as well as the Steampunk Garage. It's the first year for the steampunky corner of the fest, and fans of kinetic wonders would do well to visit. The dates for the festival are Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, and you'll want to eye the schedule to make sure you alight in Santa Rosa at your ideal moment.
