Laguna Niguel Mega Eggs: Spring Tradition
    The Ritz Carlton, Laguna-Niguel
Looking for a whimsical backdrop to a family photo? The famous over-sized eggs at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel will be on display for three weeks in April 2017.

THAT COLORFUL CANVAS: There are many offbeat places to create an artwork in this world, from a sidewalk, with chalk, to a sandy bit of beachfront (both, of course, are ephemeral, and prone to disappearing in days or even hours, making the creations even more meaningful). And there is the egg, a popular canvas, especially when springtime rolls around and we begin dipping the wonderful 'n wobbly yolk-holders in various swirls of brightly hued dye. SATURDAY, APRIL 1: That's when the whimsical over-sized eggs go on display near the resort's front entrance. Can you and the family stop for a sweet, everyone-line-up photograph in front of the beach-scene'd eggs? For sure — that is also a tradition at the hotel. These big eggs are far too large to fit in a basket, but a snapshot of you and yours standing in front of them will fit nicely in a frame one day. And another seasonal tradition at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel? A swanky Easter brunch, flush with you-pick-the-ingredient omelets and a fancy dessert spread, will happen on Sunday, April 16. But if you and your loved ones can't be at the hotel on Easter proper, but still want to admire the enormous eggs, just be sure to stop by from April 7 through April 23.
