Lambert Bridge Winery: Chef's Table Series

Enjoy beautifully made meals created by regional chefs at the Dry Creek winery.

IF SPECTACULAR SONOMA COUNTY... is your go-to spot for the perfect glass of vino, but you haven't yet dug deeply into the dining scene (though you vow, time and again, you will), your moment for meals made by top-notch SoCo chefs has arrived. And the place of arrival? Lambert Bridge Winery of Healdsburg. The family-owned winery, which is located on West Dry Creek Road, is open for drop-in tastings, and by-appointment look-arounds, but something extra special is happening through November 2017: A once-a-month Chef Tables Series event, which is about the wines, yes, but also locally grown vittles that are chosen at the height of their seasonal splendor. Chefs from around the area will stop by to helm the pots, plates, and plans, with Chef Mateo Granados of Healdsburg's Mateo Cucina taking over the May 19 through May 21 menu at the winery.

OTHER NOTABLE CHEFS... are on tap in the months ahead, like Chefs Casey and Patrick Van Voorhis of Healdsburg's Spoonbar in June. The June weekend will have some Italian-lovely details, while Chef Granados will bring some of the flavors of the Yucatan, his birthplace, to his creations. And overseeing the complementary wines? A Lambert Bridge wine educator will be on hand in the private wine cellar setting. More cuisine-making masters will be announced in the weeks to come, so keep an eye on the schedule for the daytime dining series, to see when the flavors you seek will be featured, or a chef from a Sonoma County restaurant you love will star.
