NORTH COLUMBIA SCHOOLHOUSE CULTURAL CENTER... in Nevada City. The 2017 dates are Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23, and a host of talented tellers of heart-gladdening tales will stand before audiences to delight and enrapture. A Story Slam, Open Tellings, and a line-up of top-notch tellers, some hailing from the Bay Area, will gather rapt audiences near during the three-dayer, and a Children's Concert is on the schedule, too. Perhaps you'll pick up some style tips on burnishing your own story-telling style, or maybe you'll simply lap up the lovely and very, very old tradition of a teller, a listener, a story, and the beautiful outdoors.
