WARMING TREND: We like when summery favorites start to, slowly, slowly, make cameos come the late winter. The next promising appearance is a Farm-to-Table Dinner at Quivira Vineyard and Winery. True, the Saturday, Feb. 12 Healdsburg-based supper will not be out among the vines, as is the way of the farm-to-table events. It is, indeed, still mid-February. But the gone-indoors meal will still be sumptuous, with a focus on fresh and local loveliness.

PLUS, ELUSIVEThat's the name of the Rhone-y Quivira wine you'll try during the dinner (you'll also get to blend Rhones with Hugh Chappelle, who does that for a living). And the menu is impressive: Rotisserie Roast Pig, Puff Pastry Tart with Wild Mushrooms, and Heirloom Beans with Zin Bacon are just a few of the treats. Cost is $125 per diner.
