Silicon Valley Philanthropy Day is Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) premier event, a celebration of excellence in local philanthropy on Friday, November 20, 2015. Save the date and join Sam Brock and Laura Garcia Cannon at Silicon Valley in their 28th annual event alongside community leaders, fundraisers, and philanthropists. The awards luncheon will take place at Santa Clara Convention Center honoring twenty nine outstanding distinguished volunteer fundraisers who have made an impact to change the world with their giving heart. On this day AFP will celebrate those who are the heart and soul of fundraising.
AFP consists of over 300 members working to advance philanthropy and volunteerism through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs. With over 30,000 members in 197 chapters in the United States, AFP provides local professional development opportunities, mentorship and educational programs, and offers scholarships.
