Help teach Adults computer skills on Wednesdays

The FIRST 5 Program supports the healthy development of children ages 0-5 years old and enriches the lives of their families and communities. Catholic Charities collaborates with FIRST 5 Santa Clara County to partner with families who have children 0-5 years old, supporting them as they attain their self-identified long- and short-term goals, and helping them to connect with appropriate local services.

This is a one on one class emphasizing basic computer proficiency for parents of children in the First Five Program. The participants will learn to leverage Internet, email and word processing. The volunteers should be proficient in basic computer skills and have lots of patience to work with adult participants with none or limited computer skills. Volunteers will help teach Hispanic or Vietnamese attendees.  Bilingual in Spanish and Vietnamese not necessary, but a plus.
