Reading tutors needed at the Fremont Library

A student who took Write to Read's Spelling and Writing class wrote, "I filled out a job application on my own and answered the written questions on my own. I did not have to ask someone else how to do it." Another student said, "I am glad this class is here for me, and people like me that need help. I think if more people knew about this there would be more people in the class." Students benefit from basic adult classes taught by enthusiastic, professional teachers and tutors.

Join Write to the Read Adult Literacy Program by volunteering 2-4 hours per week helping an adult read and write better or fill an on-line application to find a needed job. Make a difference. You'll be glad you did. Call (510) 745-1480 for more information.
