Volunteer in the Golden Gate National Parks on Jan 28

Join us for our annual Muir Woods Earth Day Celebration. Enjoy the majestic redwoods while helping to restore and preserve this spectacular national park.

It’s fun. It’s healthy. It makes a difference. And it’s your national park! This year we will be celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, the landmark that bridges us all and the centerpiece of our Golden Gate National Parks. As part of the ongoing celebration, we will be hosting community volunteer events and projects throughout the year and throughout the parks, keeping our treasured national parks at Golden Gate healthy, vibrant and a place for all forever.

Join us for our annual Muir Woods Earth Day Celebration. Enjoy the majestic redwoods while helping to restore and preserve this spectacular national park. Projects include planting, habitat restoration and weed removal, mulching, tending the forest floor, and trail maintenance throughout the Redwood Creek Watershed. All participants are invited to stay for lunch at the end of the event. It’s going to be a fun and rewarding day!

Individuals and groups are welcome. RSVP is requested and appreciated. Parking is limited, so carpooling is highly encouraged.

The Golden Gate National Parks Volunteer Program is a cooperative parkwide effort of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and the Presidio Trust.
