You can give back to veterans with disabilities by supporting the Valor Games. This sports event will be hosted on May 29 to June 1, 2015 on Coast Guard Island in Alameda, CA. It represents the partnership between the U.S. Coast Guard, Northern California Regional Paralympic Sport Program, and the Far West Wheelchair Athletic Association.
The Valor Games is for veterans with disabilities who are eligible for VA healthcare.The goal of the Valor Games is to introduce adapted sports to attendees. Some of the sports featured at the games will be archery, biathlon, cycling, powerlifting, rowing and swimming.
