Come see the Asian Art Museum's Flower Power, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love. Discover the symbolism of the flowers and their role in the budding Buddhists of the 1960s.

During the Summer of Love, flowers became powerful symbols of peace, a concept plucked from Buddhist art. More than merely decorative, floral imagery has helped convey ideas from the refined to the revolutionary for thousands of years.

The exhibit will be open beginning June 23 and will run through October 1.
