Kawailehua Hula Ohana celebrates its 20th anniversary at its Lu'au on Saturday, October 10 at St. John Vianney, San Jose.
Established in 1995 by Lorie Roldan-Almogela and her husband, Chris Almogela, Kawailehua is a family based oriented hula group, perpetuating the Hawaiian and Tahitian culture through dance, language and arts.
Lorie Roldan-Almogela brings 35 years of experience in Polynesian dancing, while Chris Almogela brings in 20 years of skill and knowledge of Tahitian drumming.
Kawailehua Hula Ohana offers weekly classes at its studio in Milpitas.
