San Jose State Organization Hosting Food & Clothing Drive

San Jose State University's Marketing Association will be taking donations of non-perishable food and new or gently-worn clothing from November 13 through November 16!

The organization, which emphasizes community service along with professional development of marketing skills for students on campus, will be presenting the donations to Sacred Heart Community Service when they volunteer at the facility on November 17.

"Giving back is an essential part of who we are," the organization's website tells visitors.  "As a student-run organization, we aim to strengthen our community and inspire our members to help and serve others in their daily lives and future careers."

Sacred Heart, which was founded in 1964, focuses on providing food, clothing, and hosuing assistance to those in need in and around the Silicon Valley.
