The 2015 State of the Valley Conference

Come up out of your trenches and think about the bigger picture at Joint Venture’s State of the Valley conference, happening at the Santa Clara Convention Center on Wednesday, February 4. Come and discuss topics such as how we are faring as a region, what our challenges and opportunities are and how we mobilize to address them.

The conference will lead with a briefing on the Silicon Valley Index, a comprehensive check-up on the region’s overall health and well-being. Followed by the briefing, time will be spent in dialogue and discussion from expert panels, luminary keynotes and the audience involving themselves in the conversation through live polling and comments fed to the screen using our mobile devices.

The State of the Valley also features music and dance from the region’s arts groups, high school bands and elementary school choirs. There are also booths and exhibits on the concourses showing off entrepreneurs, established corporations and non-profits who are working in Joint Venture’s project areas.

In past years, more than 1,500 people have participated in the State of the Valley including senior business executives, elected officials, heads of organizations, labor leaders, venture capitalists, journalists, academics and a host of other community members.
